DUNE's MILANO tile series is a tribute to this spirit, capturing its essence through tiles inspired by the colorful marbles and frescoes of the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele and the geometric structures of its domes. Each tile reflects the sophistication and dynamism of Milanese architecture, becoming a little piece of art in itself.
With a carefully curated palette, Milano combines intense hues inspired by the city's frescoes and marbles with delicate pastels that soften and enrich spaces. The collection consists of five 6.9x24cm wall coverings, which have a slightly watercolored appearance and a pleasant feel thanks to the matte "eggshell" glaze applied to a delicate, slightly irregular surface. The 11.5x23.1cm porcelain ribbed reliefs, made to match the coverings, are the perfect complement to highlight areas in a subtle yet striking way. In addition, at Milano, we will find 20x20cm porcelain tiles made with our Soft&Safe glaze, which stands out for its pleasant feel and C2 anti-slip properties. All of them have been crafted to match the coverings and reliefs: three smooth bases and six decorated ones whose design nods to the still very trendy single-color terrazzo, with small, shiny quartz-like inlays.
